Property description

The Villa has three bedrooms with their own bathroom each. The Master has a queen bed and a sitting area to a backyard court with palms. The Middle room has 2 twin beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed and two built in twin beds, fairly roomy and lots of windows to the yard.<br />

The living room has a built in giant screen, surround system, visual and media gadgets, wireless internet, vonage US line phone and local line as well. The theme for living and dining is with local quarry rustic maya stone. It has windows to look into the lush yeard. The dining room can sit up to 8 guests comfortably. The adjacent kitchen also has a pantry and washing-drying room next to it. A half bath is provided for service staff.<br />

The garden grounds are most unique. There are a couple of huge old mango trees. Half a dozen 30 Foot Royal Palms. A swimming pool with cascade. Perimeter fountains with bouganvileas. A grill, verandah for drinks, and a cabana for garden dining.

Surroundings

The town of San Miguel on the island of Cozumel is a small, Caribbean town with many restaurants, shops, scuba diving shops, a main plaza, a few shopping centers, yet definitely a laid back atmosphere. We are 2 blocks from the main ocean strip and 2 malls. We are also 1/2 a block from a gym and a 24 hour convenience store. We are within 3 blocks of about 8 restaurants. There is also a nature marine reserve: Chankanaab, just 10 minutes away, where you can snorkel, dive, swim with dolphins, or just hit the beach. Villa Oasis is on 10th Ave South, corner of Street 9 South. As you arrive Cozumel by ferry we are 2 blocks inland and about 5 blocks to your right (south). Or 5 blocks to your right (south) and 2 blocks inland.<br />
The distance from the main square and downtown ferry terminal is about less than 1/2 mile. The avenue we are on is one way running south to north. It is a large white perimeter wall covered with ivy. The huge palm trees can be seen a block away. Taxi ride is 5 minutes and about 3 US dollars. Note all labelled avenues run parallel to the shore (south-north), and go in increments of five (eg. 5th ave., then 10th, then 15th etc); and all labelled streets (calles in Spanish) are going away or towards the shore (east to west), and south of the plaza are odd numbers (eg. 1 then 3 then 5 etc), whereas north of the plaza are even numbers (eg. 2 then 4 then 6 etc.)
