A circle for members who declare themselves women or non-binary. It lets you exchange first with other members of the circle, with whom travelling and hosting both feel safer. Joining is free and goes through an application.

For members who take their work with them. Homes here let you hold a video call without apologising for it: a fast connection, a real desk rather than a corner of the table, and room for two to work when that is what it takes. Open to all, no application needed.

How it works

1. You join a circle

By ticking a box for the open circles, or by applying for the women travellers’ circle. Free either way.

2. You choose your listings

Listing by listing, never automatically. You can offer just one home to the circle and keep the others out of it.

3. The badge appears

Members of the circle spot your home and can filter their search on it. Your listing stays visible to everyone, exactly as before.

No. Circles are included in your subscription and add no fee. They change neither the prices nor the rules of the exchange.

No, and this matters: a circle only ever adds. Your listing stays in the general search exactly as before. The circle adds a badge and lets members filter on it if they want to — it never removes your home from anywhere.

Yes, as many as you like, and you decide listing by listing which ones to attach. Joining a circle attaches none of your listings until you say so.

Because that circle rests on something no platform can verify: what a person declares about themselves. So someone on our team reads every application. The other two circles rest on how you travel and on what your home offers — we have no way of checking either from a distance, and a queue would change nothing about that. You join them by ticking a box.

Tell us. The open circles rest on their members’ word, and that word is only worth something if the gaps get reported. A report is read, and a badge can be taken away.
