We have two homes available: our family home and a condominium nearby. Our family home in Bala Cynwyd, Penn. is right on the border of Philadelphia, within walking distance of historic Manayunk neighborhood and extremely close to the train to center city Philly in 10 minutes. Our 3-BR Bala family home has a guest bedroom with a den for an extra person or child, and private bathroom. The Wynnewood condo is available Friday to Tuesday and offers a complete privacy with one bedroom, foldout sofa in den, and private bath.

Surroundings

Both homes have access to full kitchen, near shops, and close transportation minutes from Central Philadelphia. Bala Cynwyd and Wynnewood are part of a historic area of connected neighborhoods just on the edge of Philadelphia called the Main Line. It is where the Quaker immigrants and wealthy industrialists built their homes as the East Coast of the U.S. was first settled through the Industrial Revolution. The first highway and railroad were built along this route, thus the name Main Line. Many of the towns evoke Welsh and Scottish names, i.e. Bala Cynwyd, Bryn Mawr, and Wynnewood. Both homes are near each other (5 minutes apart) and the location is truly the best of both worlds, given its proximity to center city, the cafes, galleries, museums, orchestra/opera halls, historic old city, parks, and other Philly historic sights.
