Property description

We have a one bedroom apartment on the 17th floor of a 51 floor apartment building in downtown Brooklyn. Our neighborhood is just across the East River from downtown Manhattan. This is the web site for the building: www.thebrooklyner.com/ We moved into the apartment on April 28, 2010. It's brand new. No one lived in it before us. As the photos show there's a very nice bathroom and bedroom. You can see the Brooklyn skyline from our windows, including the Verrazano Bridge and small section of New York Harbor. There's a game room with the a pool table and skee ball games on the four floor. There's also a large, brand new gym. We live with two dogs - both 4 year old Shih Tzus. These dogs will be in a kennel while we're away, but I mention just in case anyone has a serious allergy to dogs.

Surroundings

Our building is located within a 5-10 minute walk of nearly all the subway lines in New York City. It's also about a five minute drive from the Brooklyn Bridge. If you're planning to drive, which is not a smart idea when visiting NYC, you may have trouble parking. Our building's garage is not yet open. But truly, our place is in an ideal location to reach all of the major sights in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
