About a 15 minute drive along beach road (A1A) from downtown St. Augustine. Wonderful restaurants and nearby attractions. An hour and a half north of Orlando and Disney parks, if interested. The beach is so beautiful here you may not want to bother with Disney unless you have small children. Historic St. Augustine, founded by the Spanish in the 1500's and the oldest city in the USA is a much more interesting destination than Orlando.
